With the imminent launch of the GTO, Pontiac realized they desperately needed to reestablish some performance credibility after years of mediocre products like the Grand Am and the oddball Aztek.
They also needed to boost web traffic with young males. The “Secrets of the Stuntmen” webisodes were designed to do both.
Shot in a reality format, we followed several top Hollywood stuntmen and women as they plotted, practiced and executed a blockbuster stunt sequence. The stunts showcased the performance aspects of the entire Pontiac lineup in a natural, entertaining way.
More importantly, web traffic by young males increased by 60 percent and the webisodes were so popular that they also became a long-form TV program.
